Get to Know Us
We want you to feel important from the start! You will receive a warm welcome by our awesome and experienced team.
We will get to know one another and give you the personal attention you deserve.
Pediatric Dental Group & Orthodontics agrees with The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry that a child should have their first dental visit right after they celebrate their first birthday or soon after their first tooth comes in. This is a great time to establish a "Dental Home" for your child. We believe that children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care. PDGO is committed to providing a warm and friendly environment, and it is our desire to make your child feel comfortable and at ease.
What can I expect at my child’s first visit to the Pediatric Dental Group & Orthodontics?
If your child is under two, their first visit will usually be short, simple, and complimentary. This visit gives you and your child an opportunity to meet the dentist and our team. Establishing a friendly relationship with our team will prepare them for future visits and will help them to not be nervous about coming back for regular visits.
Depending on your child’s age, the first visit may include a full exam of the teeth, jaws, bite, gums, and oral tissue to check for proper growth and development. This visit also gives our team an opportunity to educate parents about oral health care basics for their child and answer any dental questions you may have.
We ask that you fill out the appropriate forms prior to arriving for your first visit.
